!±8± Printing Integration Defined With Brother MFC-9320CW

The Brother MFC-9320CW multifunction is designed with numerous features to be actively used in small offices. Here MFC means malfunction. It offers color LED and enables you to print, scan or copy from flash drives directly. It offers integration of Wi-Fi, facsimile, memory of 64MB, and Ethernet.

Brother offers this range of printer at a very decent price with decent quality, the only feature absent is the two-sided printing. LED printers make use of numbers of lights. Malfunctions are found easier, cheaper to fix, durable and tests produced are more accurate.

Features and Connectivity

On the front panel are the three LED, showing access to facsimile, scan and copy. The control panel do not give access to multi tasking operation, only provide with basic operations that is common to others. If you want to change function from one to other you cannot cancel that job but will have to start with the root interface. It has USB port for connecting other pc's and flash drives along with other compatible devices like 'PictBridge'. It has the ability to print PDF files along with picture files like JPF, TIFF and XPS. It also supports connectivity for 802.11b/g Wi-Fi, Ethernet with the inclusion of 33.6Kbps fax. Brother MFC-9320CW's control can be accessed wirelessly with the web interface. It cannot provide the very high level security access but the network can be supported using Wi-Fi protected access (WPS), AOSS if connected via routes.

Performance

The text quality is very clear and accurate. It provides with the wide range of colors, producing black which is too dark. But the quality of photos printing is not up to the mark.

The scanning process speed differs with the resolution but still it offers great speed over other. For higher resolution, in just 30 sec it can scan 2400 dpi while takes 10 sec for 300 dpi.

When it comes to scanning document, it will show discrepancy about 5% on producing the same color only the exception is with Yellow.

For creating number of copies, the contrast feature will be falling. The performance differs from coping colored prints and black n white prints. It takes 13 seconds to copy black and white and 17 sec for colored copies. Also the black color won't look like exact black but will appear gray.

Energy Consumption & Noise Levels

Brother ensures the energy-saving feature with these Laser printers, which found to be the false feature and disappointing one. Power consumption is found to be 525W while performing printing task and on standby mode it is found to be 11W generating 58dB noise, this is indeed the comparable feature with other inkjet malfunction, absorbing 20 W for printing process and 1W for standby, generating 50dB noise. So Brother MFC-9320CW is rated poorly on this issue.
